Notice to BGE Clients
We are pleased to inform you that the BGE website is now open, and all previously identified issues have been resolved. However, please be aware that the fraud fees associated with Spotify will persist.
Spotify has implemented a stringent policy that fines distributors $10 per track detected with significant numbers of artificial streams. These tracks are subsequently removed and banned. Aggregators like SonoSuite may also impose additional charges without notifying the artist about the fraudulent streams.
We have observed instances where a track with even a single fraudulent stream can incur a $10 fee from SonoSuite, in addition to the penalties from Spotify.
Due to these stringent measures and potential costs, clients may want to consider the implications before submitting releases to Spotify. We recommend careful consideration of your distribution strategy to avoid unnecessary penalties.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Sincerely,
The BGE Team
